The tankless water heater is very convenient for everyone's life. It not only saves the area of the bathroom space in terms of volume, but also greatly reduces the waiting time for hot water. It is the choice of many people in recent years, but we don't know much about the installation of water heaters. Follow me to see the installation points of instant water heaters. Safety is very important!

1、 Installation of tankless water heater - installation location

First of all, we need to determine the location of the water heater. We need to ensure that the  wall can bear 2 times of the weight of water heater after filled with water. And we must ensure this condition so that the water heater be hung safely. Make sure that the screws are tightened steadily in wall and leave enough space for aftersale servicing.

2、 Installation of tankless water heater - water pipe connection

A water flow valve shall be connected at the water inlet (blue cap) of the water heater, and the shower kits (shower head & hose) shall be connected from the water outlet (red cap). Rubber washer should be inserted between connection joint to avoid water leakage. If the water supply pressure is too high (>0.3MPa), a pressure reducing valve is recommended on the inlet pipe to protect the water heater after.

3、 Installation of tankless water heater - power supply

Tankless water heater are usually of very high power. Therefore, when using the water heater, the socket should be firmly grounded. And recommend to install an air switch with electric leakage protection features.

4、 Installation of tankless water heater - water filling

After all the pipes are connected, turn on the valve, and then turn on the hot water pipe to fill water in the water heater and discharge the air, until there is water flowing out of the hot water hose, which indicating that the water is fully filled. Close to water pipes and the joints, check whether there is water leakage. If there is water leakage, drain the water tank, repair the leakage place, and then refill the water heater.
